It is a mild morning in what is meant to be leading towards a very cold winter and it is my day off work. The alarm sounds at 6am in my flat in Shropshire, I wake up the other half and we go and get the van which I’ve rented for the day More...
So we’ve just had this year’s Children in Need, raising money for fantastic causes such as grants and projects to help disadvantaged children. Every year this initiative contributes hugely to the lives of children across the UK. This year, it has so far raised over £26million; a fantastic achievement. Coupled by meeting my friend Rob, the interest developed into a passion in my teenage years that encompasses all aspects of the sport. However, before I joined HSBC I was a Maths teacher at a Secondary School in Bristol. So rather than boring you with all the different weight categories and why most of my vocabulary is a direct rip-off from my idol Muhammad Ali, I thought I would culminate the teaching and the boxing; should boxing be banned in schools?
